About Vidhi
A free mock-test platform for the All India Bar Examination — built on one simple idea: you should always be able to see the exact law behind every answer.
Why we built Vidhi
The AIBE is an open-book exam. That makes it unusual: the skill it really tests is not how much you can memorise, but how well you can find the right provision in the bare Act and apply it. Yet most mock tests hand you an answer key and stop there — they tell you what the answer is, never which section it comes from.
We thought that was backwards. So we built Vidhi around the one thing that actually matters for this exam: every answer is anchored to its source.
Every question is tied to a real provision
On Vidhi, each question carries the exact statutory reference behind it — a section of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, an Article of the Constitution, a rule of the CPC, and so on. When you review your answers, you don't just see a tick or a cross; you see the provision and a plain-English explanation of why. Over time, that trains the instinct the open-book exam rewards: knowing where the law lives.
How we check our questions
Accuracy is the whole point of a tool like this, so we are strict about it:
- Every question is written from, and checked against, the operative text of the bare Act — never from memory.
- Each item records the section, the correct answer, the reasoning, and a confidence level, and passes a self-audit for any fabricated or mis-cited provision before it goes live.
- In our own testing, answers were validated against the official BCI provisional answer key (AIBE-XXI) at over 90% accuracy.
We would rather publish fewer questions we can stand behind than a large bank we can't.
Built for the new syllabus
Vidhi gives particular weight to the three new criminal codes — the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) — which have replaced the IPC, CrPC and Evidence Act and carry heavy weight in the current exam. Alongside them we cover the Constitution, CPC, Contract, Family Law, Professional Ethics, Company Law and more across the syllabus, and we keep adding to the bank.
Who it's for
Vidhi is for law graduates preparing for the AIBE and the Certificate of Practice — whether you're sitting it for the first time or coming back for another attempt. It is free to use, works on your phone, and needs no sign-up to take a test (you can sign in if you'd like to save your scores and track your progress).
